MEXICO’S LEGISLATIVE POWER MUSEUM. Anthropology and History.
This museum is located in the Palacio Legislativo. This space is dedicated to Mexico’s legislative power, its duties and meaning through the country’s history. Its objective is to allow Mexican people to become familiar with the common desire to lead democratic and peaceful lives with social justice. The Legislative Museum represents an effort to understand Mexico’s past through different actions that Mexican people took to comply and protect its national laws. Its four exhibition rooms are entitled: La Prehispánica, Los Principios Coloniales, El Surgimiento de una Nación and Nuestro Siglo XX.
Schedules: Tuesday tO Saturday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. Sundays: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. Valid ID is required for free entry.
