EL CARACOL HISTORICAL GALLERY. Anthropology and History.
Different snail shaped rooms compose this museum inaugurated in 1961. Those rooms feature the different periods of Mexican history. Its twelve descending shaped rooms offer visitors a graphic vision of the Mexican past. Dioramas, mock-ups and interactive videos such as “Jugando al Historiador” (Playing Historian) help children and teenagers to revive the history of Mexico from the end of the Viceroyal period to the Constitution in 1917.
Schedule: Tuesday to Sunday: 9:00 am - 4:15 pm.
Children under 13, students, teachers and senior citizens with valid ID have discounts. Free entry on Sundays.
