SAN NICOLAS TOTOLAPAN PUBLIC LAND ECOLOGICAL PARK.
Located in the Km 11.5 of the Picacho - Ajusco highway. “Totolapan” is a Náhuatl word that means “In the turkey’s river”. Its surface measures 2.304 hectares, and there are many types of vegetal life developed there, such as evergreen oaks, mixed bushes, pastures and specially oyamel trees. Visitors can also see the deer sanctuary, and watch birds and animals that live in that area. There are 82 endemic species from the north of Canada and the United States. Visitors can practice different eco tourism sports such as: hiking, horse riding, walking, mountain biking, etc.
