DIEGO RIVERA MURAL MUSEUM. Paintings and Sculptures.
The Diego Rivera museum has a main room with photografies, documents and mural paintings that tell the story of the life and work of this renowned Mexican artist. This museum also displays his bronze death mask cast, as well as the bronze cast of the artist’s right hand. Its four temporary exhibition rooms feature works of artists whose life and style were similar to Rivera’s. This is also known as the “Movimiento Mural” (Mural Movement), the Mexican School of Painting.
Schedule: Tuesday to Sunday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. Students, teachers and INAPAM members with valid ID have free entry. Free entry on Sundays. |
