SHCP ANTIGUO PALACIO DEL ARZOBISPADO MUSEUM. Anthropology and History.
The SHCP museum, former archbishop palace focus on the preservation, rescue, research and dissemination of the plastic art created by Mexican or foreign artists who opted to receive cash for their work to comply with their fiscal obligations. This museum showcases national and international temporary exhibitions. They also have an educational services program, as well as cultural activities. The former Archbishop’s Palace is an archaeological site museum, and it was built in the same place where there used to be the pyramid to honor Tezcatlipoca, Master of the underworld.
