MEXICAN CULTURE MUSEUM. Paintings and Sculptures.
This old mansion shelters the cultural process from different parts of Mexico. It was founded in 1982. Its six exhibition areas feature several popular manifestations, expositions, and venues of the Mexican culture and heritage.
Museo Nacional de Culturas Populares is also a cultural center. It has several rooms, an auditorium and two courtyards for popular music auditions, theater plays, etc. Visitors can see an important work of the Mexican popular art called “El Árbol de la Vida” (Tree of Life).
Schedule: Tuesdays to Thursdays: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. Fridays to Sundays: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm. Free entry. |
