FRIDA KAHLO MUSEUM. Paintings and Sculpture.
Artist and social reformer Frida Khalo was born, lived and passed away in this typical XIX century Mexican house. She had also lived there with her husband Diego Rivera. Diego has donated her house to be used as museum after his wife’s death. This museum has several rooms with their personal objects,devotional paintings, popular art, prehispanic pieces; besides the plastic art of José Clemente Orozco, José María Velasco, Paul Klee, among others. There is a big collection of prehispanic pieces that belonged to Occidental cultures, from the gulf and the South, all of them made of different materials.
